I made some hooks for four more origami paper star ornaments (not photographed) as gifts for other family members. It was a very delayed gift, but they’ll go to good use this Christmas. I wanted a more elegant S-hook shape than the hooks I had made previously. These look much nicer, and I hope they work just as well.

I’ve been really busy and distracted lately, so nothing new really, except for the crapton of Froebel stars I’ve been making *v* Hopefully I’ll have time to make new art things soon.

Strung onto sterling silver wire and dipped in lacquer. This was an idea I had a long time ago that never took off. I’ll see if I can give it another go.

Finished ornaments \o/ I have a few more to finish for my relatives for Christmas, but these needed to be shipped this week.

Here’s what I’ve been working on the past month. I’ve made about twelve star-filled flat ornaments (3 1/8 in. wide, about 1 in. thick) at about 80 - 90 stars each. Making the stars alone takes a while @_@ But I really like the results. More photos to follow.
